However, the background never changes between worlds, either being a beach or a large canopy of trees, leaves and branches. The birds and pigs show a lot more emotion than in previous games, the pigs react with laughs, taunts and looks of fear depending on the situation at hand, making your shots actually matter. The graphics have taken a huge step in the right direction, taking inspiration from the angry birds minisodes that are viewable in practically every angry birds game. Like other angry birds titles, the story can be ignored entirely and you won't miss anything but it does at least give you some idea on what's going on. The story consists of her and friends chasing down Gale, the purple avian commander of the pigs because she has stolen a map that leads to the golden egg, a rare artefact that's located somewhere on golden island. Angry birds Stella takes place on Golden island, where Stella is taking a vacation, as well as it being the home for her 4 friends, an evil bird and a whole new hoard of pigs to battle. Fortunately, this game brings a lot more new content at launch than most of the main series hits. That's all set to change though with the release of angry birds Stella, which goes back to the classic angry birds style we all know and love, with Stella the pink bird introduced in 2013 as the main star. However, it has been a while since a true angry birds game has been released with free-to-play spin-offs trying out new idea after new idea. The furious flock have quickly taken the app world by storm, costing each one of us countless hours of time flinging them at green pigs that have stolen their precious eggs.
